Mistral No 2 - 1995 

Mistral and naked portafilter

We just installed the Mistral.
Bought from Kees van der Westen as a refurbished occasion.
The machine is from 1995 and identified as number 2 in the series.

Set up was a breeze, but not so the fine tuning: grind fineness and amount to use.
It took 2 days but now we are very pleased, which may be regarded as an under statement.

We are using a bottomless portafilter with the single LM filter.
Not easy to fine tune, but when finally . . . .

I-Roast - roasting profiles

Please report if you have any suggestions on roasting profiles for specific coffees.

I-Roast - upper lid

Upper lid will loosen in some occasions.

Place holders are not holding lid tight enough.
To correct this: bent lid holders slightly downwards.
